- Arrive Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Son Nhat Airport.
- Met by your personal guide at airport – taxi to
your hotel where your guide will deal with formalities.

- Orientation tour of Saigon on the Honda, including
a visit to Ben Thanh Market where your guide can stock
your hotel fridge with wonderful fruit.

- Lunch at the Tasty Restaurant or the TIB vegetarian
restaurant.

- A stroll through Diamond Plaza for high-end shoppers
or back to Ben Thanh Market for anything and everything
– at local prices!
- Dinner: combine dinner with an evening cruise on
the Saigon River.

- Half-day trip by car with your guide to the Cu Chi
Tunnels – not to be missed by anyone interested in
the war.
- By Honda to Cholon, the Chinese quarter that never
sleeps – Binh Tay Market, ride through the narrow
streets and alleys, visit Cha Tam Church where President
Diem sought refuge before his assassination.
- Dinner: maybe the rooftop restaurant of the famous
Rex Hotel.

- A full-day tour to either the Mekong Delta or Vung
Tau

- Reunification Express train, HCMC – Danang
- Car or minibus with guide, Danang – Hoi An

- Morning – visit Hoi An’s tailors for clothes. (Your
guide knows the best tailors)
- Afternoon – walk fascinating Hoi An with your guide,
and then ‘Honda Dream-it’ to My Son.
- Dinner: sample the Hoi An specialities of cao lau
and wanton. Your guide will know the best places.

- Your tailored clothes delivered to your hotel.
- Minibus or car with guide, Hoi An – Hue, visiting
China Beach, the Marble Mountains and Danang en route.
- Dinner: Hue is Vietnam’s culinary capital. Enjoy
Tinh Gia Vien Restaurant, or Lac Thanh Restaurant,
or … your guide will give you ‘the good oil’.

- Full day on the Honda around Hue – see the tiny
hamlets where no bus can go, Ho Chi Minh’s childhood
house at Duong No (access only by foot, bicycle or
Honda Dream), Tien Mu Pagoda, French fortifications,
Tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty Emperors and, of course,
the imperial palace and citadel.
- Dinner: the one you didn’t go to last night!

- Final shopping at Dong Ba Market.
- Fly, Hue – Hanoi.
- Met by your local guide at Noi Bai Airport – taxi
to your hotel.

- On the Honda – Hanoi orientation and tour of the
Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake.
- Dinner: Mocca Café or Bar 69 in the Old Quarter

- Morning: On the Honda visiting the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum
and museum, Uncle Ho’s house, the National Assembly,
Memorial to Vietnam’s War Dead, and the Confucian
Temple of Literature.
- Lunch: cheap local eatery in the Old Quarter – you
can’t waste time.
- Afternoon: by Honda to Bat Trang (25 km), the ceramics
village.

- Dinner: on your last night maybe at Le Tonkin or
The Emperor.

- Morning: on the Honda to the Army Museum and shopping
in Hang Gai (Silk Street)

- Taxi to Noi Bai Airport and departure.

You’ll be exhausted by now, but you’ll have to return because
you’ve only just scratched the surface!! For every suggestion above, there are ten alternatives.
